Pathaan will achieve better numbers on day 2

The film is possibly the highest opening day for a Hindi film in India, grossing over 53 million ($55 million including Tamil and Telugu releases). According to Pinkvilla, the film's opening day gross was $67 million. Three national cinema chains, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis, contributed about 50% of the film's opening day gross to $27 million. Due to the Republic Day break, the film is expected to cross the $100 million mark in two days and have two better days.

However, the picture has gone global. Pathaan earned around ₹4.5 crore ($36 million) from the overseas market on its first day, taking its total gross to over ₹102 crore. According to Box Office India, the global gross will be between 100 crore and 110 crore. In both cases, Pathaan became the first Hindi film to gross over $100 million on its opening day.

Pathaan has outgrown the war with bandits

North America made more than $1.5 million on its opening day, while the Gulf countries contributed more than $1 million to the film's international tally. Domestic films outsold War and Thugs of the Indian era, and this is not the weekend. There is a difference between net and gross cash flow. While the total box office collection includes the money collected from the full sale of movie tickets, entertainment tax, service tax etc. such as the total cost is reduced.
